Flygility

This sport is an off-shoot of agility and involves a dog running independently away from the handler down a line of hurdles and tunnels to a box at the end. The dog triggers the box with his or her foot to release a ball, which the dog catches and then returns down the line of equipment with the ball to the handler.

Vizsla’s love this sport, and it can be participated in from the younger age of 12 months. Many agility clubs in New Zealand offer this as part of their curriculum and flygility tournaments are held throughout the country.

The titles of FD (Flygility Dog) and FDX (Flygility Dog Excellent) can be gained.
